As a musician in the Information Age (a term I never thought I’d use outside of A-Level Applied ICT) there are literally hundreds of tools available that make a number of aspects of the music industry easier. Some of them are more useful than others, but one of the most useful of all is a service called Last.fm

I’ve been watching a lot of films lately, when I could have been doing much more productive. Sometimes I think you have to take in the creative efforts of others in order to be creative yourself… but sometimes I just like to veg out and watch some films.

I watched the director’s cut of Watchmen (which contained some beautiful cut scenes), The Princess Bride (best film ever), Bicentennial Man and Avatar. I cried at least once in all of them.

There have been some issues with the website recently, as you’ve probably noticed! Everything will be restored as soon as possible, but in the meantime I’ve put up this blog to tide me over!

Lots of things going on at the moment, about which I shall blog in due course!
